Our inaugural event will be held at the Camp John Hope FFA-FCCLA Campground in Fort Valley, Georgia on August 19, 2022. Fall Training Conference is designed to provide Georgia FIRST Tech Challenge leaders with an opportunity to develop interpersonal and leadership skills, gain necessary knowledge and abilities to carry out duties of program leaders, prepare a team Program of Work calendar and budget for the upcoming year, and bond with other team leaders from across the state.

Educational OpportunitiesLeadership Training - Team leaders will learn how to run an effective meeting and develop project management skills. The Fine Print
We currently have a capacity of 200 attendees. The first 30 teams to register will be guaranteed a minimum of 5 students and two mentors/coaches. When our capacity is met, registration will close, so register soon! If the capacity is not met, teams will be invited to register more students based on the order of initial registration. Lodging will be divided by gender in large cabins, with multiple teams sharing cabins.
The registration cost of $80 per registered attendee includes three meals, lodging, and all events and activities. Students will be able to purchase snacks and drinks from the canteen throughout the retreat. Coaches/mentors may contact Jon Welsch, Georgia FIRST Tech Challenge Program Delivery Partner for information regarding student financial need scholarships.
